Executive Alignment

Teams need clear direction and guardrails to help guide their AI experimentation.

They need clarity in the over-arching vision for an AI-powered future for their organisation, and a clear understanding of what constitutes success - now and in the future.

The Alignment Session enables senior leaders to do 2 key things:

  1. Create a combined, cross-departmental view of goals & guardrails

  2. Identify where different priorities or incentive structures might be at play, so they can be discussed and algined on.

The Context

Why are we leaning into AI? Why now? What's our combined understanding of our current situation, and what's already in play that we should take into account?

2

The Vision for our Customers

What's the vision for our customers? Are we looking to simply serve our existing customers more effectively and efficiently, or are we looking to drive growth through adjacent markets or products? What disruptive business models might impact our relationship with our customer base?

3

The Vision for our Organisation

What are we trying to achieve for our organisation and our people? Are we looking to do the same with fewer people, or growing? How might AI reshape our organisation? How are we going to measure success? How would our people measure success?

4

The Guardrails

What's out of scope? What must not happen as a result of anything we do? Are there existing initiatives that need to be ring-fenced? What risks need to be mitigated?

5

The Ambiguity Map

Which important questions about our AI strategy feel the most ambiguous or risky? What steps could we take to reduce that ambiguity?
